AILA WANG

A few months ago, I had a post on kids fashion. This post is going to focus specifically on Aila Wang who is Alexander Wang's niece. To describe her style in one word, it'll be grunge. She's so edgy, i'm so jealous I wish I dressed as good as her.

INDECISIVENESS

These pictures were taken on the same day as the jumpsuit ones. We weren't doing anything out of the ordinary so it was a basic top and trousers outfit but as i had my camera with me, I took photos of her after doing her makeup for the evening. I feel like i'm in gatsby to go(a team on jerseylicious that go to peoples homes to do their hair, makeup and pick their outfits) Before we left hers, I couldn't decide between the shorts, skirt and jeans. So i made her try them all on again for this post, see how much I love you guys.Yes it's absolutely freezing in London but we weren't going to be spending too much time outdoors. Thinking about this now, I should have come up with three completely different outfits with this top and had a one top three looks post. which one do you prefer?

ZUHAIR MURAD

Shortening this post to just 20 pictures is probably the hardest thing I've had to do in a while. Zuhair Murad dresses pop up at almost every award show, I love his use of material. he incorporates lace in a lot of his outfits and his designs are always very simple and classy. I love how he uses different types of fabrics to make simple outfits stand out.These are some of my faves.

ALEXANDER WANG INSPIRED JUMPSUIT

I love the versatility of this jumpsuit. it could easily be worn to dinner and for a night out. I teamed it with these strappy giuseppes and minimal jewellery because it was a very laid back night.

GRECIAN GODDESS

You guys see Imade a lot more than you see me, it's almost like she's the face of styledbydupe. She had a school dance and after looking at what seemed like a million dresses, we went with this white Aqua high slit, one shouldered dress. After seeing her in it, the first thing that came to my mind was Grecian goddess so I knew I had to put her in a head piece. Please excuse the lack of detail and poor quality of the pictures.

 

STYLED BY DUPE IS ONE

I feel like my baby has grown. This blog makes me so happy it has been such an amazing platform for me. I know it's just a blog and I still have a long way to go, but coming from a typical African family, there is a limit to the things I can do when it comes to fashion. Although I'd love to have a lot more support from my family, I have amazing friends that support me so much I mean I wasn't even the one that made this blog,My friend  Imade was.Then her Abigail and I came up with the name, theme etc. The support I get from them and the rest of my friends is phenomenal and it actually moves me to tears sometimes. I feel so loved and blessed.

SURPRISE PARTY

This past weekend a good friend of mine, Abigail threw a surprise party for her Mum with the help of her aunty and brother. It was a very fun and emotional night. Her Mum is such a wonderful and inspirational person, she brings so much light into my World. The love I have for her can't be put into words.

RED NOSE DAY

For those that don't know, Red nose day is a fundraising event organised by comic relief. They give shelters to homeless young people and help those living with domestic abuse in the UK and in Africa, they help thousands of people with malaria, provide fresh water for communities and so much more. A lot of celebrities have done a lot to raise money for red nose day and the one that shocked me the most would have to be Jessie J who shaved her head and has so far raised £500,000 I urge you all to please donate here or call 03457910910 . CLEAR CLUTCHES

Clear clutches are fast becoming a thing and I am not complaining. They come in different shapes, colours and sizes. My favourite ones are the little non-coloured box ones. I'd love to know what you guys think about them.
