EVA

Since getting to Lagos, I have been thinking of ways to go about having a shoot but I am clueless when it comes to sourcing clothes in Nigeria. I was on the Ikoyi Lekki Bridge when i thought wow this would look lovely on the back of a dress and right there and then i decided to design a few dresses.(unfortunately due to complications from the tailor, the back didnt end up as I wanted it to) I design dresses for people every now and then, especially during prom season but I'm definitely no designer, styling would always be my thing. despite a few delays, the shoot was a success, thanks to Rani who took the photos, his Mum who was an absolute star and Tania and Oby who helped me loads. The makeup was done by Mrs. Fola and the model is Onyinye from Beth models. As usual, please tell me your thoughts on the shoot. P.S I named the dresses after famous French names because i'm ridiculously lame and I find stuff like that incredibly fascinating.

BIN BAGS

Sometime last year, I dressed a friend in bin bags, foil and newspapers. Last night I went over to Imade's and did the same thing. I also did the make-up but wouldn't advice this eye and lip combo if one plans on going out as it would be too heavy. Hope you guys had a fab weekend. please leave comments telling me what you think. Thanks

Prom dress designed by me.

She didn't want it over the top, and wanted it to be African.
embellished ankara. fish tail style to show off her AMAZING body. the shoulders were meant to be a lot more defined.
P.S she was voted best dressed, and i was prom queen.

I designed this dress for a school dance

she wanted a simple dress, but at the same time she didn't want to put on jewellery so I couldn't make it too simple.

BIN BAGS, NEWS PAPERS AND FOIL

These clothes were made out of news papers, bin bags, foil and a whole load of tape. They were quite easy and fast to make. vikki was lovely enough to model. I designed them the night before. the bib necklace took me ages to make ahhh.
